Stages of a Bathroom Renovation

Stages of a bathroom renovation

By Faith Hart

You’ve been perusing the aisles at the hardware store, looking through magazines, surfing the internet and gathering pictures. You are just about ready to commit to your bathroom renovation, and now you’re wondering, “How long will this actually take?”

At Isles Construction Group, we understand. Although construction is our line of business, and we do bathroom renovations regularly, the average person does a bathroom renovation only when needed. As such, we want our clients to be informed about the different steps involved in the renovation process.

On average, it takes between 4 and 8 weeks to renovate a bathroom. This variation is due to the scope and complexity of the individual project. For example, a project where the tub, toilet and sink will be upgraded while remaining in the same location will take a shorter time to complete. Projects involving a major overhaul, such as moving a toilet or shower will take longer to complete because of the additional plumbing work that needs to be performed.

Regardless of the size of your project, the following outline illustrates the
steps that are part of the average bathroom renovation.
